Here is one of the special people who has been a special part of our journey from the beginning. He is one of Elizabeth's biggest fans (alongside of Libby and Jennifer of course, not to mention her absolute biggest fans... Daddy, Mommy, Emily, Erin, Sam, & Jacob... and her grandparents & Aunt's & Uncles & cousins!... Wow.. she is blessed!!!).
Well, Elizabeth was the guest of honor at Sam's field trip last week. She enjoyed the attention of 4 classes. The kids in Sam's team are a great group of kids. His teachers are absolutely the best! We had a wonderful time hanging out with all of them. Here is a picture of Elizabeth by the end of the day. She was a little tuckered out.
Things around the Miller household are wonderful. Having a little one around changes everything. The kids and Mark and I are seeing things at a whole new angle. We are seeing life through Elizabeth's eyes now... wow... we take life for granted, don't we? It is so refreshing to see things through a little one's eyes. Everything is exciting, even a blade of grass or a pebble becomes something fun and new. If only we could remember the love of life when we get older. Somehow, life just isn't as fun and exciting. Right now, we are seeing bugs, leaves, grass, dirt, dust (a fun memory was when she took the dust from her Mamaw's shelf and brought it to me over and over again; she thought it was so interesting and fun!), flowers, animals, people, tires, cars, balls, textures (any and all kinds of it), music, laughter, mold, plants, ..... anything and everything that she can discover. It is all fascinating to her. It has reminded me of the incredible world God has given us.
